At Stoneydelph, we are committed to supporting the learning of all our children through high-quality, adaptive teaching. This approach ensures that learning activities are planned according to each child’s individual level, allowing them to make meaningful progress. Where needed, adjustments are made to support their learning in the classroom.
The school follows a graduated approach to identifying and meeting learning needs. Parents and carers will be informed if their child is identified as requiring additional support.
If your child is recognised as having additional educational needs, a Support Plan will be created collaboratively with their class teacher and shared with both you and your child.
For children with medical needs, a Care Plan and Pupil Profile will be developed and shared with parents/carers to ensure their needs are met effectively.
All staff working with your child will have access to these plans, which outline the strategies and support in place to help your child succeed. These plans are reviewed regularly to ensure they remain appropriate and effective.
We are committed to ensuring all pupils are fully included in all aspects of school life, including trips, visits, enrichment opportunities, and extra-curricular activities. Where necessary, we provide additional resources, staffing, and reasonable adjustments to ensure every child has access to the full curriculum and wider school experiences.
